Sorry to correct you but afaik those are present on up to 92 modells only and as long as the blower started when it's relay's contact was bridged means that there is power on the circuits just that the relays are not closing hence my suspicion...
Welcome just be aware that my reply is based on the '95 modell diagrams as the for earlyer modells are very hard to find but i presume that 94 with 95 300tdi should be quite similar
Hi, i usually dont answer to those who are not following the "protocol" with this https://www.landyzone.co.uk/forum/introduce-yourself.20/ but now i'm in a good mood so i can give you just a hint: check the connection at earth header E201/C2029...
There can be many reasons for lack of power on a Td5 and the turbo is one of the last suspects, engine management issues are more common which can be caused by one of the sensors involved in fuelling calculations or can be low fuel pressure as...
I would guess around 165 170 for mine, more than 150 well under 200, but mid range torque is good.
But unless you are drag racing, it is quick enough to not be a pain, and to have fun. On a twisty road mid range torque and anti roll is much more...
I considered swapping sides but I was risking destroying the nearside rear as the one I have just replaced did not want to undo and screws had to be cut.
So I carried out guidance height on GAP and simply level offside while sitting in the...
you know that the PCV on the side is different than the DCVs dont you? too bad that you have the late modell block cos the solenoids for the early ones like mine are around £50 a piece... i'm wondering how much different they are though
Oooops, that solenoid doesnt look good at all, might be corrosion in it's connector or the winding's connections to the pins are affected... yes, better replace it to be ruled out
Usually if the solenoid fails it's not intetmittent, your problem is more likely a bad contact on the circuit IMO, can be in C0377/0391(big orange plug near the fusebox in engine bay) or in the solenoid's plug unless the wiring is chafed somewhere
Hi, the next move should be to find somebody with nanocom and run live output test on the lock-up solenoid cos seems very that the problem is on that circuit albeit the M + S warnings should come on in this case and you didnt mention anything...
Hi, ERR6951 is for td5 with ACE without A/C but you need the idler(nr3) too no way without that https://parts.jaguarlandroverclassic.com/parts/index/part/id/14.55786.56203.59873/brand/land-rover/
New pump and fluids came today... Steering has not been so light ever before.
So what I learned. Never buy cheapest staff, use always recommend fluids... Simple is that 🤥
Aha! In the knowledge that I had another spare quick connect from my doner connected to the fuel cooler, I just went ahead and tried to pull the inner tab mechanism out from the inside of the connector… and it actually comes out quite easily if...
Haha! Good philosophy… I ordered a 8mm Barb which arrived today (judged on the size of the fuel line), but what I didn’t account for was that there is an inner 6mm plastic line on the inside of the rubber one… annoying! But fairly certain if I...
But did you plug back the AAP sensor after you swapped the MAP?
Why did you bypass it? The overboost protection has nothing to do with the wastegate modulator but don't be afraid it will not go to overboost with AAP senso unplugged, it's even...
Be more specific if you want proper help... what pressure and which is the exact fault code?... post these informations beside the engine type of your vehicle which is compulsory unless you want us to guess if it's diesel or petrol cos it's a...
I've seen new britpart height sensor which was DOA and realised after a long and hard troubleshooting on the SLS wiring on a D2 cos i didnt think this can happen so you might have a point here about that particular sensor which makes tricks... if...
If you do it and works means it was a good idea, if it leaks it was not ;) ... meanwhile google out "fuel line quick connector" cos there is a huge variety of them on the market some of them cheaper than chips
Thanks for your advises!
So at the moment there is old pump from were the sealing failed (now with new sealing).
According @sierrafery thinking (pump just not create enough pressure) I just made a test: With engine idling, car not moving, I...
There is no real need to bleed the PAS system on a D2. You just fill it up and turn the wheel full lock both ways a few times. I would bin your cheap pump and start again with a new decent one. Metal in the fluid is not good, and I would hazard a...
If you say that i think that maybe on RHD the whole setup is a bit different cos on mine(LHD) when the box was replaced it didnt work well untill it was properly bled no matter how much and how many times i turned it both ways
