I got the LUK clutch kit with slave but Iv just found this could this be part of the problem

Hi all, I’ve just replaced the clutch and slave cylinder on my 2012 freelander 2. I’ve bled over 500 ml through, now I can’t get reverse with the engine on. When I start the engine in reverse, I’m getting a strong burning smell but does reverse back. Any advice would be great
