as all you freelander 1 owners will know that when you open the tailgate on your freelander 1 the rear window glass has to drop slightly to allow the tailgate to open, on mine the glass has stopped dropping so everytime i want to get in the boot i have to physically get in the car and press the...

check your oil aswel, for emulsified oil (white in colour) oil and coolant mixed, this is a sign of head gasket trouble, will poss mean oil has got into the water jackets through a failed head gasket, and keep your eye on the temp gauge & levels etc, any misfiring, they always run a bit lumpy...

hi, my lp pump (behind o/s wheelarch) failed a few months ago and it just wouldn't start, this is the primer pump from the tank, gave it a tap with a hammer and it fired straight away, it lasted around 3 weeks before it failed again so i just hit again and carried on for another couple of weeks...

a few months ago my fuel pump packed in, (the lift pump under the o/s/r wheel arch) so bought a none genuine one off ebay for £50, and replaced the filter at the same time, straight away it was buzzing loudly and sounded like it was drawing air in, so i got onto the company who i bought it off...

yes i know how to bleed a clutch, just wondered whether there was a special method as these are a different system than most cars i thought

Hi A.J.M, thanks for the post think i will buy a genuine one just to be on the safe side, this may sound like a stupid question but do they come pre filled with fluid? im sure ive heard that somewhere, and any tips on undoing the coupling where the pipes join? i havent had a look at it yet but...
