Right, I've got the head off. It had a composite head gasket on which was still complete when I peeled it off the underside of the head.. it's been on a while but it's not blown. I need to clean things up for a proper look at the valves and to measure the bores. I don't know what I will do yet...

I've got both prop shafts off my 2A so I can replace both diff pinion seals. Both props seem good, no UJ wobble and no noticeable spline wear. The gaitor is missing from one and needs replacing on the other. What's the trick for unscrewing the cap on the short half so I can separate the props...
