    Disco 2 down.. nano com said MAP but no joy.

    I followed a system on another post on here, worked with my brother's when we fitted a new fuel pump.... I will try again today and check the voltage but that the time I had another car and jump leads on the battery etc

    So with the disco 3 down I fired up the disco 2 and was pottering round in that for all of.... 3 hours 😂🙈. Started struggling as if it had no fuel.. fuel gauge read half full. She gave up... Got 2 fuel cans of fuel put them in.... Managed to get fuel to the engine and now it just won't fire...

    That's for the EGR tip I bought it like this so fingers crossed it passes. It's a 2005 👍. Yea looks like the thermostat housing to me aswell so I've ordered the aluminium version in hopes it's stronger and more durable.. Just hoping it hasn't done any proper damage. Truth be told I've had...

    Another fun day in land rover ownership. Did a weekend camping at Overland 4x4 show... No major issues only 60 miles up the road so no biggy.. Pottered round in it to the petrol station and the shops... Nipped 2 miles into town and pulled back up on the drive... Opened the gate and noticed...

    Do these axles look narrow?

    It is a proper 'bitsa' It's a series 3 ex RAF... Series 2 engine Series 2 gearbox Series 2 tail gate... Truck cab with a spare van top... It's basically a bucket of parts at the moment 🤣

    Thanks for the D1 reference point guys that lead me with abit of researching to these.... Land rover boost alloys... Defender seems to be the most common. So looks like some adapters are needed 👍👍. Thanks again guys 👍

    Thanks yea we where both completely fine. Not a scratch between us. Mrs was a little stiff for a day or 2 for the brunt of main impact was her side as she was driving. Pictures don't do justice to the level of the crash to be fair. If we had been in a normal car. We would have broken bones...

    Yea we are really happy with that just guna work through getting the chassis cleaned repaired where needed and sealed etc oil leaks one has been sorted with a new crankshaft seal ... The others will get done as and when.. Hasn't left any oil in drive yet so they arnt bad at all
