    ok as you know my fpr was leaking so replaced that thinking that was the reason you drove for 1 mile sometimes 400 yards and it would die. it would take 5min to eventually start again the fuel pump was noisy so was gonna replace that next but decided to replace the cheaper option first so...

    OK from previous post you will know I fitted a fpr to my td5 engine as it was leaking quite bad. I thought by fitting this it would solve my starting issues but alas no can drive it for about 3 miles then it starts to chug chug then cuts out takes about 5min to start again pump in tank sounds...

    Yep using proper gasket tried both new gaskets on but only one matches up o ring in in cylinder head I can see it clearly should this o ring be resecced in the cylinder head as it seems to be sticking out a fraction
