Thank you so much for your help Ian. I will put another fuel filter on to see if it' that and I'll order a new non return valve and air bleed valve see if that's any better. I'l Keep posted thanks again I'll be back in a few days

Mine is the same strggles to start when fuel less than half. I'e put a genuine New fuel filter housing with filter air value and non return valve fitted. New aftermarket fuel pressure regulator. New aftermarket fuel pump and now its got a second hand genuine fuel pump. Injector loom replaced and...

Okay thanks Ian I will try and find it. It' so annying now just want it fixed don't even care how much it will cost. When I don' the FPR I changed the metal gasket and the o rings as come as a kit but there's a mesh type gorse thing that goes in the engine and that looked like it's been snapped...

Ian it' doing everything that you have explained. The trouble is where is there air coming in. I can' sit there and purge it every ime that' not practical and not a fix. Like I say its exactly what you say thou word for word

Hi guys a quick update. I have just changed the fuel pressure regulator not the whole unit but just the regulator seals and metal shim seal and seems to be 90% better. It starts every time now but still have a noisy fuel pump. Thanks

Yes sorry I mean the air bleed valve! Is that in the correct place? The other one with the rubber but on the end I'm pretty sure was on the right right port is this also correct? Thanks

It was in the back left closed to the chassis so I put it in the back right closed to wheel. (Back) as in as you look at the filter housing from the wheel arch is left (back of car)
