Cera-tec should be used on brakes. Copper grease will do in practice, as you say Wammers, but isn't compatible with ABS components, brake fluid, rubber seals and some wear indicators. It can often, as you rightly said Entropy, create a sticky mess that inhibits pad movement. I think red...

It's true. Not to be used on brakes though. They have their own lube.

Bottom joint/arm, column off the back, two hoses and four bolts. Out the top from memory, only intercooler hose and washer bottle pipe above it.

Could there be a split pipe before the pump, causing it to suck air.

So say if you leave the collet in place when replacing the ball joints it'll stay centered. Worked for me so far (1000miles). You get 3 tries before the yokes are written off. Not sure why?

When you tested for fuel to the injectors did you give it enough time to bleed the lines incase air has entered the system?
