I know😭 I fu"king want one as well 😩 my son bought an E55 v8 amg SC mercs that runs on bloody ethanol... Tuned to 564bhp.. Damn thing only costs 50 odd euro to fill the tank.. 🤷

Oh they are lol. It’s a robust engine. You can tweak them back to health even though their 30 yrs old heads just don’t like too much heat. Was never designed for the weight of a P38 just bunged in there.

I went back to have a perv look today. It’s got no obvious markings but twin zorsts and air breather for fog lamp so I’m guessing it’s an auto V8! Lovely interior dark leather. L322 alloys with nice tyres (presuming the bottoms ain’t rotted out)...

Just filled up at 128.9!!! Worked out at 21.3mpg and dash said 21.0 so it's back on track again. That's with quite a bit of towing so slightly lower than normal

I went out to it, started it up, praised the lord it worked, something else broke, swore a lot, locked it, swore some more, made a coffee and now pretending it doesn't exist.

After doing a longer drive, everything seems to be well. It even accelerates better than before. Static timing fixed it. Thank you guys for your help!
