and they are 2" longer to allow for the extra 2" you have extended the springs by. some times (when a lift kit is fitted with standard flexis) when the axle has dropped to its lowest point the brake flexis can get a bit 'tight'.

get a carrier off a bonnet and bolt that to the roof, you wont be able to weld it as the roof is aluminum and the bonnet mount is steel. whats another few drips in the grand scheme of things!! :-)

i enjoyed the build, it took just over a year from lamping off the disco body to the first trial and that was working nearly every weekend! when i cut the body off i took the engine and box off the chassis and got a local guy who sandblasts houses to come and clean the chassis for me, cost...

my disco was crashed into by a clio on a roundabout and ended up with a bent sill and B pillar, i had an old series that needed a new chassis and bulkhead so i combined the two with a 110 bulkhead that i repaired and now i have a hybrid!

me and a mate do exactly the same on a Newholland when fencing, warms pies up lovely, stick them on with a spud wire!! as for the temp a a series engine, someone once told me that they run at 85 C, i dont know if this is correct though rory
