Now I know what it is I decided to call Dunsfold LR, they said it is a noise damper and as you said it is isn't vital. Thanks again.

Thank you. Someone else said it would be hard to control the bite point, making it hard to drive.

1986 Range Rover Classic what is this part ?

I have recently purchased a LHD 2 Door RRC with a 2.4 VM Engine. I have not been able to test drive it yet, I was told the brakes were iffy and I live on a hill with a sloped driveway so its chocked etc. The vehicle runs and I have a strong clutch and brake pedal, the brake pedal gets firm...

1986 Range Rover Classic 2 Door Rear Seats

Thanks, its a help but a close up of both sides etc would be ideal, also this is a lot earlier than mine, I'm not 100% sure they are the same fittings, the manual doesn't list variations so probably the same. I was just told by Craddocks that most exported RRCs 2 door were sold as vans and never...

I have just bought a 1986 2 Door that has had the back seats removed and boarded out like a van. I have ripped the boarding out and I am trying to locate all the seat components and refit them. I have bought the seats and frames but am struggling to work out what the locating brackets look...

Wanted Series 3 Gearbox Bulkhead Bridge Plate

I have a Series 3 109 which came with no gearbox or any of the tunnel parts or floor. Mine is the version of the bulkhead that has no flange for the tunnel, it uses a removable part called a bridge plate, part number 330069 or MRC4135. There are none on ebay, I have included a couple of photos...

Wanted : Front Drive shafts for a late model RRC

Hi, I am after a pair of front drive shafts and CV joints for a late model RRC. It needs to be the type that has the removable dust cap in the centre of the drive member. Ideally shipped to me or close enough for me to fetch. My axle is empty so if you have all the nuts, washers etc too that...

Connecting Early PS Pump to Late Model PS Box

That was my last resort, the engine is shoe horned into a Series 1 and there is very little access. Knowing my luck something will break as well. Thanks.

Connecting Early PS Pump to Late Model PS Box

Yes thats why I want to know about the thread or get an old pipe for them to copy the pump end. I have bought new pipes for the box end to join them to.
