:confused: freo still playing up i checked dizzy and plugs leads .dizzy cap its a miracle it fired at all,covered in black plastic where centre brush should be. cleaned it starts better.still burps under low rev load. ie.. taking of from lights.will replacing this solve problem of burping .also...

took car for hr. drive yesterday no problems.started up today back to running like chaff cutter when pulling away from lights .the main fan does not appear to be working so have disconnected air con.and running both fans of air con switch . if faulty thermostat will this affect fan .or is it cat...

re cat converter: robbo again im from aus.and have found that by disconnecting oygen sensor car will run seems to be in fault mode. what is a cat pipe as iwas thinking of removing cat until summer finishes.still 40 degrees plus fan not kicking in till engine very hot using air con to switch...

found noise converter can this be cause of engine power loss :confused: freo 1.8 running like chaff cutter after 5 mins

same thing again .drove for 20 mins. in 40 degree heat no problem. 40 mins. later drove home ran like chaff cutter under 2600 revs can,t find source of noise in front checking gear box oil levels tommorow.:mad:
