    200tdi

I installed a 200TDI in my Series 3. I ran the exhaust out over the frame rail and down the outside of the frame. It's somewhat of a tight bend out of the turbo, but seems to work. No problems with heat on the floorpanels. One note, after researching how to route the exhaust, I read someone...

    Fuel Gauge "What-in-the-name-of-Sam-Hill"??

Just a little update. My IC voltage stabilizer has seen extreme temps in the past year (-10 F - +110 F) and is still working well. No perceptible drift in the guages... Good luck. IHMS, We never heard back on yours...

    road springs or parabolics

I just switched to Paras, and the ride is terrific. Granted, my old road springs were not in a great state. This is the second best upgrade to my series 3.

    Fuel Gauge "What-in-the-name-of-Sam-Hill"??

Hmmm, the old Voltage stabilizer problem... Last summer I had a problem with mine... Fuel guage would read full until about 50 miles from empty... The temp guage would read that the engine was near overheating, when it was actually just fine. I replaced the voltage stabilizer and it...

    200tdi turbo hoses/pipes

I used a 300TDI intercooler and pipework. It is so much easier to fit. I clocked the turbo a little bit for better clearance on everything.

    disco 200tdi in a series 3

There are really two trains of thought on Radiators... use the Series radiator, and an external oil cooler, or use the Disco one with the integral oil cooler... Each have their advantages and disadvantages...

A few questions on disco 200TDIs for when I change over...

The 200TDI will fit a series gearbox, but you must remove one stud on the engine, and either drill a couple of holes in the lower ring of the gearbox, or use hex head screws to attach the stiffening ladder to the back of the flywheel housing... here are a couple of links with good info...

A few questions on disco 200TDIs for when I change over...

Not to be rude to Yella, but the series diesel ignition switch will not give power to the run circuit (for the injection pump) when in the start position. It is better to use the petrol switch and use the wire that would go to the ignition coil on the petrol engine, to feed power to the...
