    Disco 3 (LR3) Discovery 3/4 vs RRS

I've decided that within 12 months (for mot reasons) I'm going to change my 2004 Freelander for something bigger/better. I want a Disco 3 or 4, but the Mrs is set on a Rangerover Sport. Please list as many reasons as possible that the Disco is the motor to have... I'm losing at moment

What have you done to your Freelander today

Changed the engine oil and filter, air filter and replaced a faulty bulb. Then had some mud tyres fitted at the tyre centre. Need to change the autobox oil soon, not a job I've done before.

Which is better, Disco 2 or 3?

Thanks for the input guys. I'll keep in mind everything you've said whilst Disco shopping. I'm slightly swaying in the direction of a good solid D2.

Which is better, Disco 2 or 3?

In a couple of months time I'm going to be looking for another Discovery. I used to love my old 1995 Disco but Disco 1's are getting a bit old in the tooth now. So I'm considering a late D2 or one of the first D3's. It will be mainly (80%) for road use, pulling log trailers. But will also be...
