well it turns out it wasnt the battery (100quid down the drain) it was a wireing problem to the starter motor !! put it in my local garage to be fixed , all sorted , had it fully serviced while in there (total cost £665...ouch) but its running like a dream now , what fantastic motors thse are :)

anyway to stop that happening?

nope , i get all the dash board lights , it just doesnt do anything , its like its dead , but the battery and alternator is fine.all the windows and sunroof work, im really at a loss

btw , i dont know if this helps , but im not getting a sound when i try and start her , no clicking , which makes me think could it be something to do with the immobilazer??
