Taken a while, meant to return to this post and thank you for this information. Have yet to exploit them all but once these restrictions lift I have list of places to visit, hoping the landy shows are open at the end of the year. Thanks again.

Well I have checked the play in the steering tonight with the engine on and found the play to be around 5 degrees so more than happy with that.... think my next weekend off will involve half a day under the old girl checking all bushes. I came to the conclusion the watts linkage needed...

Thanks again

-
Well thank you all for your help, it is much appreciated.:D It would seem the spigot is the issue (that will teach me to not read the manual first before starting a job)... I am lucky enough now I can take it off the road for a period of time and take my time, I will get as spigot bearing...

Hi all, my D2 TD5 has, as explained in the title, a horrific grinding/ screaming noise coming from below the car when the clutch is either fully or partially depressed. I think I have figured out the problem with reviewing all the posts but cannot find anything that 100% matches my issues (the...

After two long weeks we finally collected the D2, since collecting it we have a completed a 1000 mile shake down covering mostly motorway mileage however this week we did our first little bit of green lining.
With the shake down along with a proper inspection we have found we have;
A bad...
