:confused: Have just brought a 1998 disco v8 and have just noticed that the charcoal canister and purge valve are missing. The plug is there for the valve,but all other pipes seem to have been removed. Can the disco be run without this canister,or do I have to refit it completely ?

Should have said ,the car is an N reg and the log book is not marked to show it is an import. Have taken both sensors out of th exhaust system and they are totally nackered.It is now immobile until these can be replaced,any ideas where I can get north american parts?
