Not sure what you mean ?? Prior to removing belt crankshaft was aligned according to Haynes manual, however, as stated camshaft sprockets didn't align

Hi, Thanks for quick reply. I checked and rechecked timing marks whilst trying to align prior to removing belt. I'm pretty sure it's not out. Problem is that cams have been fitted incorrectly when head gasket was done prior to me owning vehicle. Because cam marks did not line up( approx 2-3...

Hi, I've attempted to replace timing belt but think I've moved cams as I did not lock them
Added to this when I originally lined up timing prior to removal of belt the marks did not actually line up, only the crank line is correct.
