    Many thanks guys it was the lucar connecter on solenoid.

    Went out the other morning to go to gym engine turned over about 6 times didn't start switch off tried again this time nothing just a click from under steering wheel, checked that the auto box lever was in park tried again nothing just a click not a click from starter motor, checked battery...

    Ecu codes

    Just joined the forum and straight away picking your brains. had the ecu checked it came up with these codes 59, 79, A/c clutch drive open load fault. anyone got any ideas???:mad:

    Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen my name is Ray I live in Burnley lancs I am on my 3rd land rover and my first disco 2 td5 auto, I hope to find out many new facts about discos from your years of working on them. Hope to talk to some of you soon on forum.:)
