No I don't think so. Get something thats petrol and less tax. Don't know what yet .

I'm not into confrontation. I think the car was getting to its sell by date anyway. The tax and insurance and the price of fuel were all getting too much so this 'mechanical' problem was the straw that broke the camels bank [ pun intended].

I've been told by the garage that its the slave cyl that needs to be replaced and its going to take nearly 7 man hours to do. So, as far as I am concerned, its too much money and is now it is time to part with the car. To be fair, its done 112,000 miles and there are a few problems creeping in...

Hi All, Had my clutch changed 18 months ago plus master Cyl and Slave Cyl plus two Clutch rods. Yesterday complete failiure to engage gear. The garage has just phoned to say master cyl has failed, and its out of warranty. any suggestions on how to approach the garage. the job, 18 months ago...

I've only been driving for 45 years and I think the noise is coming from the front. My own feeling is the brake pads are not high quality and in answer to Jimy110 I think the mud/dust shield is there to protect the pads from ingesting dirt onto the pad and making a scraping noise...mmmmmm...

Landrover garage has fitted new pads, new discs and regreased everything bit STILL the noise is there under braking, its frustrating
