I have now found the part numbers but still can't find the parts, for a sensisble price any way! The surrond/housing number is: MTC3611 The bracket number is: NRC8734

I've been searching for the part pictured below thinking it was a choke, but ratty and Sean where good enough to point out its a hand throttle... so what Im after is the surround/housing not the cable.

My 1984 110 currently has a pressed metal front number plate and a plastic rear one and both need replacing. So can I legally get some nice new metal ones made or will I have to get boring plastic ones?

I have done a HPI check on landy and it that said it was 2.3ltr. I can't find any reference to a 2.3ltr diesel engine being fitted to the early 110s so I asume it meant the 2.25ltr I may well be wrong though.
