replacing rear door lock barrel-hard job?

Yep - the lot. It's all one piece & non-serviceable except for the lock barrel. Try Rimmers, Craddocks or Paddocks. Bolt on, bolt off job.

replacing rear door lock barrel-hard job?

I think you may have mega probs if you can't get the key in ! May have to replace the whole lock

replacing rear door lock barrel-hard job?

I got a new lock barrel from Rimmers - seems OK. I've only replaced my rear door lock barrel (anyway all my other ones - on an '83 110 SW - will be different from yours). It was dead easy - exactly as described in the Haynes Manual. Remove the lock assembly from the door (4 screws/bolts...

    landroversuk-good/bad-opinions?

Had a look at an LPG converted 110 V8 CSW that they had last year. Friendly enough, but they wanted seriously silly money for it & wouldn't bargain - so I walked away.

Any Idea What This Is ? (Alternator Question)

Problem solved. If you look here Lucas - TVS - Products - 12V Alternator you can see that it is the optional terminal for a warning light. As my warning light works perfectly well using the thin wire in the 3-wire multi-connection block, I have disconnected the 'mystery' wire - with no ill...

Any Idea What This Is ? (Alternator Question)

I'm trying to identify a rogue wire connected to the back of the alternator fitted to my '83 110 V8 - see picture below. The alternator is a Lucas A115-45 (LR Part No: PRC2677) with following numbers on it: 24028D A115-45 178312V1. It is, I think, original - but has been reconditioned at...

    110 Lpg

Had my '83 110 V8 converted for 5 months now & generally very pleased with it. Insurance was no problem so long as you sent them a compliance cert from LPGA installer. Sailed through the MOT (emissions done on gas only). Doesn't like starting on gas when very cold (lot of backfires) so I...

    V8 Fuel Starvation ?

Problem identified (but not yet solved - waiting for parts); blocked fuel tap on the petrol solenoid of the LPG system.

    V8 Fuel Starvation ?

Thanks all - good advice. Timing should be OK - had a 6,000 mile service & MOT 2 weeks ago. I run on petrol at least once a week to try to avert some of the problems with prolonged dry running that Charles mentioned. Looks like the floats & needle valves need checking. Ho hum -...

    V8 Fuel Starvation ?

Having a seriously weird fuel (?) problem on my '83 110 V8. She starts & runs fine on LPG, but - when started on petrol started with difficulty, ran roughly for about 30 seconds then cut out - repeatedly. Pumping the accelerator prolonged this to about 45 seconds. That was yesterday - today she...

    Gearbox swap 110 v8

If you've replaced the blown overdrive - don't suppose you would want to get rid of the linkage ? I've been after one for ages ?

    LT95 Overdrive Linkage

Anybody know where I could get hold of the correct Landrover overdrive linkage to allow me to fit my Fairey Overdrive to my '83 110 V8 ? I've got a Range Rover linkage with the unit, but they are very different. The bit I'm after is the cranked actuating arm, with pivot, pivot bolt & pivot block...

    Hello

Hi, New to this forum (but not others). Currently driving an 83 110 V8, but have driven all sort of Landrovers at work (serving soldier since 1979).
