Funny you should say that, I recently ended up having the head gasket replaced only a month or so ago. I wonder whether they have given up because I was using it whilst the gasket was dodgy! Having seen this post it has just made me work it out! Since October 2016 when I purchased the car, excluding fuel, tax, insurance it totals £640.Most expensive items being the oxygen sensors which failed as soon as i bought it! If I added fuel on it would work out much, much more being a V8.....

Hello! I have purchased a second hand tow bar, my vehicle has never had one fitted. Just wondered if anyone has any instructions on how to fit one? Is it as simple as just 4 bolts...

Thanks for the reply! With the one you had, did those bars clear the rear wheel okay? I know what you mean about the access to the rear, but only a couple of us at any one time so shouldn't be an issue.

Thanks for the comments - after using the car over the last few days it hasn't happened again, so touch wood it was just a 'blip'. Keeping everything crossed in any case!!!

It's unusual as it has never done it before and nothing has changed, am I being too optimistic hoping it was just a one off?! I'll slowly drive it down the road tomorrow with everything crossed.

so to cut a long story short, I left my car running outside for around 30 mins this afternoon. When I managed to get back outside it was overheating so turned the engine off, it started steaming and it cooled down. Any reason why this would happen, or is leaving it running for 30 mins idling...

Went out tonight and quickly plugged it in to check and was presented with this! Can they become faulty from lack of use? I know it's a long shot but I've hardly used the car these past few weeks and just wondered considering it was newly fitted in November! Damn oxygen sensors haha
