Best tow bar mounted bike rack?

hello everyone. I have a Discovery 2 and I'm looking for a towbar mounted bike rack (Thule most likely) just wondered whether anybody uses one and which they'd recommend? Ideally looking for a 2/3 bike capacity.

that's the one i used to have, sturdy, but heavy and bulky, and due to how the door opens on the disco dont think you can get in to boot without bike removal

Thanks for the reply! With the one you had, did those bars clear the rear wheel okay?

I know what you mean about the access to the rear, but only a couple of us at any one time so shouldn't be an issue.

i did not have it on a disco unfortunatly only had a renaxxxx at the time, there is an adapter for the thule velo compact

but it's not cheap

easiest/cheapest option is the spare wheel mounted much easier to attach and store

nope lol even worse when you have to carry 5 bikes, though then the trailer comes in to it's own

The same one we have on our disco. I have a lighter one for my dacia made by mont blanc that locks on with a scissor action.

If its only 2/3 bikes there a 4 bike carrier that inserts into your spare wheel carrier as an alternative option
