The radio and cd play through fine...you just cant get info display...so a nightmare to pair phone etc...

New switch came today (a day early) and it sorted the problem out. Phew!

Thanks for taking the time to reply. I'll probably sound like an idiot, but how do I go about finding a "stray feed"...I googled the symptoms and most came back to water ingress and dodgy switches. Mine is less than six years old and visually looked fine. And it's got sealed "waterproof" loom...

2013 Freelander 2 B & W TD4. Enjoying mostly, but a few days ago it started to unlock boot each engine start, opened once when I pulled away. A new boot switch is on its way. What are the chances that sorts it?
