It’s not a TD5 though. Probably a 19J 2.5TD, or maybe a 200tdi transplant. Neither of which are particularly fussy as to exact specs. Front hub seal leaks could possibly just be the rubber hub caps.

You should NEVER wind a watch that is for sale, a small rotational shake is sufficient to make the drive train active to see/hear if it is working ...

All of mine do. Hence accidental drain battery one time when I forgot to unplug front and rear cameras, and left her sitting for 2 or 3 weeks. 🤦♀️

Thank you for your response regarding the antenna. Regarding the faulty switch, yesterday I sprayed the switch section with an oil-free electronic cleaner, and when I tried it today, the odometer button worked perfectly. I think I will postpone... -

Not by me. As said there's a mod where you replace the link in the rear fuse box with a relay to make them ignition live.

The slight leak on the rear nearside hub has become more of a weep now. I noticed it last night when I went to a local meet up. Looks like, I’ll need to get a complete seal and hub nut kit and do the whole job. I’ll check the breather too.
