Yeah I checked bf Goodrich and they say 6.5 is minimum for 255.... They probably just want to palm off their modulars on me....

Just don't go to Jsf in Norwich, they just refused to sell me wolf rims and 255/85 as they said the rims are too narrow..... Shame as they just missed out on a large chunk of money!

Just fitted a Richards on mine...rear tub mounts (seatbelt ones) were 20mm out compared to old chassis so took lots of swearing, pry bars and ratchet straps to get it bolted on! Also I went for Richards as I was led to believe holes were cleared of galv, yet I had to file a few holes. No...

So I bought an autosparks loom and the indicators are correct the reverse light is correct everything's as it should be apart from the fog light wiring appears to be on the wrong side.... Has anyone else found this?

I've got the clips.... I may try bonding into place! See what happens! Slightly annoying richards chassis don't think of this because I'll have the same issue with fuel lines...

I'm fine with the running down the rail it's the bit by the a frame I'm not keen on just looks nasty! And yeah I thought about cable ties but my mot is this mont... Will it pass with just ties on?

I was told it was a 10 week wait but it got to me in less than 4. As for the chassis scrap, personally I am cutting the section with the VIN number off to keep and scrapping the rest.

If you get a Richards they will put the tank mounts in for td5 tank but I'm pretty sure you keep the proper rear crossmember! I regret not getting the td5 tank mounts on mine! Gives the option of a 2nd tank if you need it.

Before the new year it was £1040 for a chassis... Before tax mind!

Richards chassis and I paid £1500 delivered.... I ordered before they put the price up! It's all the other stuff that makes the price go up!
