I am after a Range Rover P38 of some sort, anything considered really but pref diesel manual - i have max of 5500 to spend

if it is without warranty i would leave it be to be honest - for that price you can get hold of the much better and more reliable TD4 engine variant! keep a look out for one as they are by far better! ebay maybe a good place to start! Hope that helps, matt

Yes that may be an idea and it will have a bit more power me thinks, there are a couple on ebay with LPG already fitted for under a grand, just worried about reliability really

Erm i would say manual to be honest - does make it quicker slight better on fuel etc and they are often slightly cheaper over the auto model
