    Range Rover to Freelander??

Hi guys. Thanks for your replys. Hmm. Well me 'n' the missus sat down and went back to the roots of why we wanted a 4x4. Decided we got carried away. We wanted a car that we could off road in, chuck everything in and go camping, etc. etc. RR is perfect for this?? Or is it? Don't know about you...

    Range Rover to Freelander??

Thanks for your reply Will. TD4 I'm assuming the obvious that it's Turbod Diesel yes? What year is yours if you don't mind me asking? I believe that the older TD4 had a Rover diesel and wasn't so good, is that correct?

    Range Rover to Freelander??

Hi folks. I don't know what to do. A couple of months ago we bought a P38 4.6 HSE. It's great fun. Has poke, does mud (I taking your average attemt to go off roading nothing big and serious) is really comfy and BIG!! Thing is it also comes with huge fuel bills, (which I expected) big...

    P38 central locking troubles

Well, my P38 is playing mind games on me!! I went to Land Rover today to pick up a rod that connects the key barrel to the lock, as mine was broken. I get back to the car, and my drivers door won't open / unlock at all. I climb in the passenger side to pull the lock up inside, and nothing. It...

    V8 fan belt tensioner removal?

Hi, I bought a new belt tensioner (on the left as you look at the engine bay), and I know that to release the belt it unclips or is moved?? But how? Can anyone help as to how I remove the belt and the unit? I'm assuming once the belt is off it is simply one bolt? Thanks, Phil

    Eas Fault

-- Update. Went to check out the fault by checking relays nad fuses. The fault had gone again. Then out shopping it came back. Seems my RR is scared of off roading in the wet! The passenger side front corner seemed to ride higher than the rest of the car at one point. It seems that...

    Eas Fault

Hi, I've been off line for a while. Well I will try that approach, but this is what I have discovered: Dry / normal rain and after 4 days the car behaved itself. - Fine. Up until today when I decided to go off roading with lots of puddles etc. -Nothing big, just a muddy bumpy track. Switch...

    Eas Fault

Hi everyone. Well it looks like my P38 is putting together a list of problems to get fixed all in one go. Last night I had the EAS FAULT and Christmas tree lights appear on the dash problem. The extended ride hight light on and no control of the height at all. It hasn't sunk to the bump stops...

First of many troubles? - hope not!

LOL. I've plenty of experience, owning Fords and Vauxhalls. Couldn't stray from the need to get your hands (And usually work shirt) dirty! Think I might upgrade AA to roadside recovery though!

First of many troubles? - hope not!

Feel like a true Range Rover owner now :) - Today I had my first bout of trouble. Locked then super locked the car. Went to 'lazy lock' the window, and nothing! Unlock? Nothing. 1 hour on and nothing. I climb in the window to get the handbook etc for the EKA code. Key in lock, nothing, the key...

    Ticking V8?

Cheers. Took it to my garage today. They confirmed it was manifold related. From loose bolts to gasket to cracked manifold itself?! Something for the weekend!!
