I get a similar problem from time to time with my glass fuses in my Landrover 90. The headlight stop working, even after cleaning the fuse carrier it still will play up. If I roll the fuse it will come on. Strange !

Yep, sounds like earth fault,
As above, redone mine with good size nuts & bolts. Now have a problem with the head lights come on when the ignition is switched on. Looks like I have day running lights. ♂️

As others will say. Service history, they do have a couple of weak points. But lots of info on this site to guide you. have had mine 8yrs now. Apart from rear diff, has been a fab one. Last couple of years had been used in my plumbing business instead of a van.

On my D2 I had the mis fire. Replaced the loom and it was still there. Found it was a loose connection, there was oil in the ecu.

I had this problem. Had managed to kink a pipe when fiddling around the under the bonnet.

Don’t know if this helps anyone with paint colours. I found a brochure for the Landrover 90 I was restoring and made my choice from the colours available.

Sorted out the back, as Freelander is used as a working vehicle for plumbing business. can fit a 3mtr length in and close the boot. A hard working truck carrying tools and materials about.

Looked at replacing the vent flap rubbers. think I will leave it to the Warner/dryer weather.
