I realise its not first hand experience but i spoke to a guy at the classic car show that had fitted one to his S3 lightweight (the S3 LW in last months Classic Land Rover) and he couldn't rate it highly enough, as such I've ordered one and will be fitting it when i do my chassis swap in Jan.

Can anyone tell me the nut/bolt size/pattern for a series 3 2.25 petrol front pipe to manifold connection ? can't seem to get the details anywhere and not too happy leaving the PO's homemade brass efforts on my new exhaust !!

Series 3 2.25 petrol, get an 80s model well looked after and you should only be looking around the 2.5k mark, great fun to drive and with the ability to change onto LPG later on not all that expensive, especially if you take into account how many miles you will actually do a year if your at sea...

This might be a daft question but why would the manual state 6DATDC when it should be BTDC ? Ive bought a simonbbc elec kit and have not set timing before so looking for a definitive method/setting before i even start
