When bullock road was all holes before it was levelled out, santa pod made it look like a walk in the park. It's a fair few years since I last did any laneing, just after they were all levelled out. I'm going back 10 years or more.

My mate runs his own garage, he uses snap-on a diagnostic machine and it'll only read some of the TD5 system, usually not the parts I want. :doh:

Where do you go round peterborough ? I used to do a lot when the likes of Swineshead wood and Santa pod were a good day out each, the last time I was Swineshead way an average family saloon would have done it without getting stuck.

Mine doesn't do this, but does drop of one front wheel is jack up, I'd say the near side bag has a leak. I'd advise you replace as a pair, the off side on mine used to drop, replaced with a second hand one and about 6 months later the same problem, replaced with 2 new one's from paddock's and...

Does any one have any spare stat's left they'd like to sell ?

Good post the drivers seat in my disco 2 has stopped working last winter, had a quote from local dealer of £40 +VAT for element and advised to replace the foam squab as well @ £40+VAT, that per seat, then the passenger one packed up this winter :doh:. Will have to take them apart and have a look...

Hi I have a 2000(ym) Disco TD5 what seems to have some "play" at the pedal, I've been told it has to go to a main dealer to have it reset, does anyone know if this is true or is there a quick fix ?

I don't think it's been mentioned yet but, has your turbo seized ? A quick check is to take the inlet hose off and see if it spins freely.

If your going to tighten the terminal on the starter, disconnect the battery 1st, otherwise when the spanner touches the body and the terminal at the same time, you'll get sparks and a bump on the back of the head.

I had a problem with my TD5, turned out to be a wheel bearing.
