My d2 needs the rear arches repairing, I've never welded before in my life and don't fancy practicing in the thin stuff!

The tdci has 33k on the clock and has a galv chassis.
Just been reading up on the pit falls of this regarding sva, vic checks etc....
I don't want to have the motor taken from me.

Looking at getting a 110 crew cab in the region of 13k
Do I go td5 or tdci.
I've read so many reports on both that I don't know what way to turn!!!
I drove one of each today, td5 seemed more grunty ( chipped) but the tdci seemed more refined
Hmmmmm.......

Bit of an update. The disco was a dud. so I spend 14 hours on a train!
A few weeks later I bought another but that died on the way home :wtf:
Liner decided to slip so I was smoking like a steam train! so abandoned that one at work and sold it for less than half of what I paid for it :(

Just signed up after buying a Disco v8 on gas :D
I dont pick it up until friday but I'm looking forward to it. I just hope its a smooth ride like my old RRC was.
From reading various reports and chattin to other owners, I have my toolbox on standby :rolleyes:
