Hi nodge I hit the tank today with hammer and the pump worked but stops every now and then also when driving it home the power won’t rev up any help

I took new sensor of this morning should there be diesel coming out when turning engine over with sensor out also the sensor look smaller

Where is the crank sensor located on these bmw engine

Has mine one in the tank or rear wheel arch
