Yeh made it a bit easier. found it easy with plenty of lubricant and a good cord.

Well guys all done. Old seal put new seal in all done within an hour. Your advise was a great help... No more leaks... from the front anyway....

Got a nice new sharp Stanley knife ready to cut out. Got some nice new cord to feed in and plenty of lubricant. Thanks guys will let you know how it goes. After this its my door bottoms I'm welding up. Good at welding tho. So no problem there

Well this heavy rain in Devon has revealed a nasty leak around my windscreen seal allowing a nice pond to develop in my passenger footwell. Any hints on the best way to remove/replace screen. I have ordered a new original seal waiting for a dry day to replace it. Thank you....

I'll have a good practise first... I've stopped the leak for now from the screen bud will change the seal when it stops blowing an absolute armagedon style wind. ... Thankyou for your response mate..
