Hi I have a defender 110 1992 300tdi my clutch recently went and have been trying to find a replacement but all the ones I have tried have a different layshaft teeth configuration from mine I have flat teeth and the one's I have tried have v shaped teeth. The gearbox is a j suffix R380 with a lt230 transfer box, has anybody else had this problem before.I have contacted a transmission company that will rebuild my clutch plate with the old centre in it so it will fit but can anyone help as to why mine is different.
