    P38A Bank Holiday Project

Mine has the early style condenser, runs from the top of the bay right down the front. My chassis number is XA and I believed LR changed it from YA?

    P38A Bank Holiday Project

Thanks for the advice. Looking forward to getting these few bits done. Did you find you had to take the front bumper off? Heard reports of some being able to manage without resorting to this? Still got to get a new sunroof, new offside front lower ball joint, rear speakers/sub and fix the front...

    P38A Bank Holiday Project

Thanks, I’ll take a few photos along the way! I’ve persuaded my best mate who works as a mechanic at an Audi main dealer to give me a hand, don’t think he’s looking forward to it

I thought exactly the same, stored safely away in case I’ve got no choice but to attempt a solder in the future!

    P38A P38 - intermittent EAS fault

Thought I'd update everyone for the benefit of the forum - changed the Drivers pack two weekends ago. TOUCH WOOD - it has been good as gold ever since. Seems to be much more responsive when adjusting between ride heights now - seems to do it in a matter of seconds. Perhaps an element of the...

    P38A P38 - intermittent EAS fault

The problem has returned - time to bite the bullet and replace the drive pack. Car started to jump to highest ride height again and then the 'EAS Fault' on the dashboard reappeared. Plugged into the laptop and 'pressure signal constantly high'.

    P38A P38 - intermittent EAS fault

Spent my Sunday afternoon removing the white connectors and cleaning up the connector pins around the compressor. Just got back from a drive and everything seems to be behaving itself… for the moment! Cycles through the ride heights in seconds and no unexpected ‘jumps’ to full height. Thanks...

    P38A P38 - intermittent EAS fault

The air suspension woes start again after a month of trouble free motoring! In the last few days the car has started to randomly jump to the highest height setting again. Was coming back from the coast yesterday evening when the dreaded "EAS Fault" appears on dashboard whilst driving up the A3...

    P38A P38 - intermittent EAS fault

Hi all, thanks for the responses. To update you all, I checked and cleaned the connectors in the passenger footwell and next to the compressor and valve block - so far, so good, and I haven't had any further issues since - might just be coincidence but thought I'd start here and see if the...

    P38A P38 - intermittent EAS fault

Hi All, New to the forum and studied posts meticulously on this topic but wondered if anyone with any knowledge could point me in the right direction. Be kind, my first post out of the ‘introduction’ section!! Have an intermittent fault whereby the dreaded ‘EAS Fault’ appears and the car goes...
