    There are problems with the engine - there is a fine mist of oil coming out of the exhaust, although not blue or black smoke, and I use lots of water - but I just need to know more about it so I can service it and keep it running well. Marine engine mechanics are few and far between hereabouts...

    Hi there. I've got a Land Rover 2.5 diesel in my narrowboat - the number stamped on it is HRC 1474 and I am in desperate need of a service manual for it. Any suggestions? Thanks!
