Hi. I replaced it with the standard rubber? mount. I had read on here that the poly bush had caused vibration issues with the td4 so went for the original.

Well I got it out. I jacked up the engine, removed the bolt from the ird mount side, and levered up the mount providing enough angle to extract it. Replaced the mount and taken for a test drive -got rid of a horrible vibration at around 1700 rpm. Still unsure why my engine is sitting lower than...

Thanks. I have tried with the smaller end bolt in and removed but neither way gives enough clearance. Had a look at the subframe and it looks like a big job! Will walk away and come back in an hour or so for a fresh look.

Thanks. Yes and I was expecting a simple half hour job! Maybe Landrover altered the design of later irds? I tried lifting and pushing the engine from different angles and have not been able to get the clearance. I will have a look at upper engine mounts -maybe they are incorrect for the model.

Has anyone tried running injectors for a manual td4 in an auto? Was there any noticeable difference in performance? I have 0445110130 injectors in my td4 automatic and the cost of refurbishing them locally in Australia is significantly more than sourcing a set of refurbished 0445110049 injectors.

Hi I have an oil leak from the rear of the IRD where it joins the prop shaft. It has spun quite a bit of oil on the underside of the car. I will try and load a photo. Do I need a new TRX100170?

I think so. It certainly has a very significant chug chug when it is lumpy and also pumps out a lot of smoke.

I have had a look at the crank pulley and it appears ok. I think the vibration may be related to the fuel system. I have replaced the harness to the fuel pressure sensor. The very lumpy idle is intermittent -sometimes it runs smoothly when started. I am wondering if I should replace the sensor...

Thanks. I will have a good look on Monday. I had a cursory glance from above yesterday and could see no dust. The noise coming from the belt area sounds more like a worn bearing than a lawn mower. I will report back on Monday.

Hi. There is some noise coming from the belts in that area so I will have a look. I was also unaware of an Otago in Australia -until you mentioned it. I'm a New Zealander living in WA. Thanks for the help.
