I would have a look at bulbs first and clean the connections. As the lads said you have extra load on the system

I think its ex LR assistance the back looks to have had grills and what looks like a dog guard is proper secure. Missus has dogs in all time so the tints keep em cooler. Gonna put some grills on out side to stop the terriers jumping out the window when there open.

A bit of both really, they do stand of the bumper a bit but its not too bad. They come with an angle bracket that i fastened inside. I had to cut out the bumper to let them drop in.

Yes mate did everything from the b post back. Today fitted some dinky extreme LED work lamps, not wired to switch yet but super bright

Fitted DRLs using a durite kit which is about 30 quid, comes with everything and is dead easy to wire up, black to switch live, brown to ground and grey to headlights so they turn off when side lights come on.

Defender still under warranty for a while so i don't wanna do to much as yet.
Got a quote for window tints, 420 quid :eek: so bought tools and loads of good quality film for less than 100 and did it myself. Not a bad effort just a few minor things. I thought the alpines would be the hardest but...

I would have normally said you have voltage drop issue based on the fact LED lights often work just as well if theres reduced voltage.
I fitted some recently that operated between 3 & 36 volts!
So where as a filament lamp would glow dim an led may work as normal masking the problem, but...

Iam guessing you used standard automotive relays rated at 30 amp, which i work out to be 360W capability you should have no probs if you wanna upgrade/add lighting in the future. I think you've done a great job.
Just one other point for folk that don't know most modern vehicles use thin wall...

Take the bulb out, when its cold hold it up so you see the filament and flick the bulb it could be a broken filament that separates when hot.
Check the bulb holder connections to see if they sound, you may have a loose connection that is breaking when the lamp hots up.
If that doesn't throw up...
