Hi, If you have the standard 90 wheels then they should be 16 inch diameter ones. You need to check the width too. Somewhere on the wheel rim should be stamped the diameter and the width, described as a J rating,ie: 16 x 7 J or something similar. Older 90 rims are quite narrow so restrict tyre...

I've got a 300 TDI 90 (1995, 100,000 miles) fitted with Hi clones that seems to average 27mpg. I don't drive that economically so you should see a bit more.

Tried that, seems to work but it means that the handbrake lever has loads of clicks before it's fully on. I think it should only be 4 clicks before the brake is on and I'm a bit worried that it won't pass the MOT with too much travel. I've adjusted the play in the cable too.
