    Thanks, I know, I search all of his threads to find an update and I couldn’t. It’s a spare engine of his and like it, mine is in need of cylinder sleeves. I was wondering if there was any info on this process ??

    Hi Henry, After a couple of goes yes I lined up the harmonic balancer with TDC and the lobes one bank 1 facing each other at ~45 degrees I have a timing chain kit. I found in RAVE how to replace the cams for bank 2, line up the lobes, fit the cam bolts, bearings etc But nothing for lining up...

    no hone marks - I’ve done some reading and in not sure that the bores are honed because of the silicone stuff?? it is gouged on 2889 probably copious amounts of WD than water as I’ve been cleaning the carbon off the pistons and coating in WD for protection it has never heat seized

    Yes on the Schrader on the injection banks. You’ll need a thingy though.

    That is the fuel filter, if you have low pressure from the pump and a dirty filter, knocking it may have helped the flow. My pump died and it’s easy to change with the tool to remove the acces hole. Although I would not have liked to do it with a full tank of petrol!!

    I have fitted a new SAS. With my diagnostic tool there is a degree reading when I turn the wheel left. then when I get to centre and turn right I get some weird readings. I think there is a CAN BUS fault in the line - any tips anyone??
