old man of the woods

Hello All, actually im not that old-well 41. Anway, owned a Disco TD5 for 2 years and love her more than any car we've ever owned. However in that 2 years (car cost £7k at 80,000) we had new clutch, steering box, brake callipers, watts linkage, fuel block, the list goes on ignoring the obvious water feature sunroofs, snapped door check straps etc. The latest niggle is the constant non recognition of the handset signal, resulting in most mornings having to override the system with the emergency key access procedure, then down to the garage to plug in and reset at 40 quid a time ! Sounds silly but could a neighbours car be messing it up as journey times are similar. Anyone any ideas, before i do something silly like buy the Kia Sorrento a mate told me about !
