Hi all! I have the above mentioned '93 D1 5 door. The central locking won't work the rear doors. The is no voltage at the actuators. The fronts and the tail door work fine. I have re soldered all the main joints on the control unit. Is there another plug or central earthing point I may need to...

Hi, Correct re the pre facelift diesels. There is NO fule flow data therefore will not do MPG etc. Volts, Map, TPS, Temp, RPM, Speed, Intake temp is what they do on earlier diesels. Mine's and '01 and no fuel data. '04 on I think. Oliver

Hi from New Zealand I have the same issue...the threads are too long - I do have a 200 series though without cups so I use the small bushes with the fitted washer on the shock and another at the very bottom. Needs more washers as the bushes will free up in a few miles and be very sloppy...

It's a pity about those dumb looking 'bling' tail lights all the cars are getting now. What the D3 needs there is a 'smoked' lens. Smooth.

Mine is an ex Japan '98 Tdi Disco. (i'm in NZ) It is an 'S' model. It has cloth trim, steel wheels, a/c, airbags, no sunroofs. I have added L/R light guards front + rear. Any help? Oh, ES's came from Japan too. Full leather and twin sunroofs and alloys. Occasionally ya find one with rear a/c too.

Hmm, I wish!! My '98 300Tdi EDC Auto with egr blanked gets 650km (@400 miles) on a tankfull. This is ny 4th one of these and all have done the same MPG - average of 25. This is a good as it gets here!! My DII V8 got 17MPG on average. But... 95octane petrol is NZ$1.80/litre (@GBP .61) and...
