Lr4 front wheels skids while turning - diff lock?

Tested / observed several things today on a flat surface. - Steering angle sensor measures 600° to 0° to -599°. Measures around 0° when driving in a straight line with steering wheel centered. So sensor all good👍 - Grass-gravel-snow (display shows both diff lock open) -still skidding when...

Lr4 front wheels skids while turning - diff lock?

I will check that steering angle sensor! Not using any terrain respons settings aka. "Special programs off". Picture attached just to show what is not available in "Special programs off".

Lr4 front wheels skids while turning - diff lock?

No luck with Gap tool i'm afraid.. But then I guess the car does whatever it pleases in the "Special programs off" mode without leaving any details of what it actually does🫤

Lr4 front wheels skids while turning - diff lock?

Uphill 30° incline (at most) on gravel into a tight 100° turn onto asphalt. Diff locking does not monitor in selector mode "special programs off". Here is a picture of diff monitoring in a "special program":

Lr4 front wheels skids while turning - diff lock?

DCS does not kick in. Car does not give any electronic feedback in any way. Have not tried with DCS switched off. Will try. 1. No. All in normal mode (selector to the left). 2. Wheels hardly slip on the gravel when driving up my driveway. Car must be extremely sensable if it takes action of...

Lr4 front wheels skids while turning - diff lock?

Hello! I've got a pretty steep uphill driveway. It's pure gravel and ends in a sharp 100 degrees turn onto asphalt. When taking this turn the front tires skids like ****. I've heard something about the center diff automatically locks itself when the car senses any wheel slipping. Can this be the...

Disco 4 (LR4) Lr4 Engine fan runs all the time.

Had my water pump fail today so removal of the fan was mandatory. So I went on soldering some test leads on it. Won't be able to measure anything before everything is back togheter though (of course😁) And my Fluke has Trms. Any suggestions on how to connect the wires and which settings to use...

Disco 4 (LR4) Lr4 Engine fan runs all the time.

No. Nothing has changed. I haven't done anything but collecting data. The blades are still bending towards the engine at engine speed 3000 rpm. I am certain it spins way too fast and that can be confirmed by the sound of it. I will question the manufacturer for the max rpm the fan is designed...

Disco 4 (LR4) Lr4 Engine fan runs all the time.

Off - Idle - 2500rpm. Temperatures are stable so I did not include them in this chart. As for the refrigerant sensor it's this one only that can match your description. And this report came with the new fan. As I can understand the only thing that makes it spin before 60% PWM is the coupling...

Disco 4 (LR4) Lr4 Engine fan runs all the time.

This is right after startup cold engine. No refrigerant pressure sensor found in the live values library I'm afraid: This is a few minutes later. I gave it around 1500rpm and the fan pwm immidiatly dropped to 0%. I drove away and it stayed at 0%: After about 10min driving: I then had a...

Thanks you so much for answering. Can you tell if any of this can be done with the Gap tool?

Disco 4 (LR4) Lr4 Engine fan runs all the time.

Hello! Cheers from Norway! Have an issue with my LR4 TDV6 3.0. The fan runs all the time. It sound like a plane taking off. Any engine speed above 3000 RPM and the blade would bend quite a bit and somewhat start hitting the engine. I have installed a new fan hoping it would fix it, but no...
