hello mozz smith - you are my last best hope - 2001 4.6 P38 in lock out - have tried to enter EKA code but red light keeps flashing and alarm goes off if i turn on ignition after - I am open to all suggestions - I did allow battery to go flat but is now fully charged of course key no longer work...

P38 2001 4.6 100k - The EAS system has been giving me some worries recently -I have replaced all four bags (leak on rear) and rebuilt valve block and compressor - system works well with no dropping down over night and from access mode she is up to correct hight within 15 secs so all seems fine...

I too had same problem on a late 2001 4.6 - check your little red light flashes when you press button - put key in drivers door and press and hold down lock button - still holding lock button turn key anti-clockwise to lock door but hold it there for at least a slow count to 10 - you should hear...

Please some advise - but I must let you know actions taken thus far - some weeks ago the EAS pump seemed to be working overtime but not going into fault - suspected leak but could find none - bags looked to be original so started at that point and changed out the four of them for new Dunlops...

Good information sas1810 - I will have to do this - have some stainless steel mesh on order - will take pics and post when job done
