with the help of google i just found your post dated 21.10.2008 (regarding your 1999 TD5 running fine up to 60 mph, and getting hotter and then losing power when accelerating until it cools down again) here. My 10 yr old Disco TD5 shows the same problem since last december, and after changing the viscose main fan and the thermostat the guy in the garage is running out of ideas, so i hope you don't mind me asking if you got that problem fixed, and what the solution was ?
