Dam kids have been fiddling with the spade connector to the rear window element.. The spade connector has broken off the element.. Is there any way to reconnect? Seen the paint to repair breaks in the element but can't find anything eppropriate to me problem.. Any advice would be...

Just cought up on this... Only at Garforth maybe 5 miles from sherburn... Tools in motor if needed .. also have rigid tow bar and ropes straps if he don't make it home.. might even have a spare battery at home... Finish work at 5 though so hopefully he will be home by then...
