Good evening.I have just started up my series 3/ 200di after restoring. after a few start ups it seems that when switching off the ignition the engine it stops very abrupt as though it is going to do some damage to something. is this normal,does any one with a 200di have this same problem...

Thanks Steve, That's very good of you for the information.,Like yourself my dipstick was stiff to use but end must have broke off .into sump, at the moment trying to retrieve bit out of sump firstly removed dipstick tube fishing about with telescopic magnet no luck .borrowing a snake camera ?

Hi Steve, On my brake pedal this bolt 560223 is only to adjust the brake light switch it screws in to a tapped hole in pedal in front of brake switch. Fastened to two of the brake pedal box mounting screws thanks Steve

Hi Steve, Yes my brake set up is as your drawing, Has your landy got servo brakes mine hasn't I am sure I have read somewhere that single pipe systems like mine have not got adjustable brake pedal but the servo types have. I might be wrong but I am sure someone will know on this forum Thanks...

Thanks everyone for all your replies. Steve2286w on my landy there is no adjustment that I can find for pedal,only for brake light switch. Pedal is approx. 148mm from floor. but had my bulkhead reconditioned and galvanised but not impressed with accuracy..

Hi if I pump pedal a few times it gets better but after leaving it a minute its same as before but pedal does not completely sink to floor but I am not really happy with pedal travel ,and if I get help (wife to press pedal) I can not move wheels but pedal is well down. near floor
