Only issue is size... LR3 is much bigger inside, and I like size.

I am still delighted with my LR3, but am going to replace it as I do every year or two. So - an all-new LR3, a one-year-old Range Rover Sport, or a new Range Rover Sport. Your suggestions, recommendations and opinions? Michael

Yes - the one underneath at the back. They took two weeks to do it and LR Corporate was involved, so indeed I imagine it was major work. And all I did was drive through torrential rain in Tennessee!

General perception is great - see the reviews I linked on http://www.mvw.net/lr3/ I am delighted with mine when it works - and as long as LR fix the issues I will stay delighted. Issues found are bound to be engineering issues: all that open wire and those open connectors in the salty...

Excellent! It was delivered late December actually, 23 December to be precise. So I guess it took 3-7 weeks to get here - 5 weeks average. One week for the boat and 4 weeks for the logistics - the truck alone took two weeks!

Certainly: it is an LR3 HSE, and the VIN ends in 310770 - is that good or bad? :-)

Oh that is helpful tahnks (and yes, I realise these are not the only wires - just the ones most obviously visible to me and my camera in the garage yesterday :-)

Please do - the cable loom too is exposed, look carefully...

Got my LR3 back.. and it works again. LR found a faulty height sensor (left rear) that had been affected by moisture. This is after replacing the entire wiring loom there... you wonder how often this is going to happen, since there are exposed wires and connector clearly visible by the rear...

Update: My recent (and ongoing: this AM the car was down at the rear) suspension failure may be due to a failed rear height sensor. The dealer has ordered one, and meanwhile I hobble everywhere with frequent failures. Meanwhile LR corporate are looking for a replacement car for me - but since...

That is consistent with my experiences. They have already replaced the rear wiring loom, which was wet and internally corroded. Maybe that happened again. Also: We get a lot of salt on the roads here in winter. That worries me too (the underside of the car is already rusted, e.g. the rear...

Yes. Me. Mine (my 2005 LR3; I live in Canada) has had three or four occasions of failures now - and has been in the shop for almost a month since I bought it in December. Today it failed repeatedly (suspension fault - normal - suspecnsion fault - normal - etc) twice. I am asking LR for a new LR3.
